Tasting Notes
Vinous 93
The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Les Champs Canet 1er Cru has a leaner bouquet than its peers, stony and rather austere, perhaps not engaging as much as its peers. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, taut and fresh, quite saline in the mouth. A pleasant tangy, orange rind and lime-tinged finish lingers. Maybe missing some nuance, but it should age well in bottle. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 white tasting. [Neal Martin, 22/11/2022]
