The Craft: The Moravian Blend
The identity of the Gold Cock Blended Whisky is built on the same premium raw materials as their award-winning single malts, balanced for maximum drinkability.
The Ingredients: A precise ratio of aged single malt whisky (made from floor-malted Moravian barley) and grain whisky. This combination ensures a spirit that is both rich in flavor and light on the tongue.
The Aging: Like its single malt siblings, the blended components are matured in European winter oak casks. This imparts the classic “Gold Cock” spice and golden amber hue without the need for artificial coloring.
The Water: Utilizing the soft, mineral-pure waters of the Vizovice Highlands, which contributes to the whisky’s clean, refreshing mouthfeel.
The Appearance: Bright, shimmering gold with medium viscosity.
The Nose: Light and aromatic. It opens with sweet vanilla and honey, followed by notes of fresh cereal, dried orchard fruits, and a subtle hint of toasted oak.
