Description
100% Grand Cru Chardonnay
Winemaker Olivier Bonville crafts this cuvée by blending the energy of the most recent harvest with a high proportion of rich reserve wines (often 30–50%). This ensures that every bottle carries the house’s signature complexity. A seamless marriage of fresh citrus and deep, toasted brioche. This is a “must-stock” Champagne that represents the absolute pinnacle of value in the Grand Cru category.
The Look: A brilliant pale gold with a fine, persistent stream of bubbles.
The Nose: Elegant and multifaceted. Recent reviews from early 2026 highlight a bouquet of white peach, lemon oil, and acacia blossoms, followed by sophisticated layers of toasted almond, fresh-baked baguette, and honey.
The Palate: A beautiful balance of “tension and cream.” The palate is vertical and precise, driven by flavors of green apple and grapefruit, while the fine mousse provides a velvety, indulgent mouthfeel.
The Finish: Clean, long, and intensely mineral. It leaves a distinct saline and chalky impression, a true reflection of the Avize terroir.
