Cask sample. Pretty and red-fruited but, again, the protective SO2 is a bit intrusive at the moment. The pretty scent on the palate too – not as dark-fruited as I usually expect from Gevrey. Peppery and juicy on the palate. Better balance than the Chambolle. (JH) [13/01/2023]
