L’Intemporelle is the jewel of the Mailly estate. While other cuvées celebrate the muscularity of Pinot Noir, L’Intemporelle is a study in finesse. Harvested from the most elegant plots in the village during the exceptional 2018 vintage a year praised for its abundance and perfect ripeness this wine is defined by its creamy texture and luminous acidity.
Presented in its signature curved bottle, this 2018 release is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, offering a lighter, more floral touch than the standard Millésime.
The Look: A pale, shimmering gold with emerald reflections and an ultra-fine, delicate bead.
The Nose: An explosion of white flowers. In reviews from late 2024, critics highlight notes of honeysuckle, acacia, and orange blossom, followed by white peach and fresh ginger.
The Palate: Incredibly supple and “airy.” The 2018 vintage provides a core of juicy pear and mirabelle plum, wrapped in a texture that feels like liquid silk.
The Finish: A long, refreshed ending with a hint of grapefruit zest and that unmistakable Mailly chalky minerality.
