The 2017 Nuits Saint-Georges Clos de la Marechale Blanc has a primal, grapefruit and Williams pear bouquet. The palate is well balanced, displaying a fine bead of acidity and lightly spiced with ginger and touches of white pepper, although I find it just missing a little mineralite and tension on the finish this year.
