A third of production. 3ha, north of village, bottom of Champerrier plus a bit from Combe du Bas, planted in 1928. 10,000 vines/ha and yields of about 28 hl/ha. This came from his father, and it’s a complete coincidence that it was planted in the same year as Aux Echezeaux from his mother. Mix of 12 parcels. Tank sample. Served just a little warm. Diffuse nose with lots of exuberant fruit. Hint of something medicinal. Very Gevrey flavours but with more lift and freshness. Really very good indeed! Forward. [29/11/2017]
