Tasting Notes
Robert Parker 94
The 2012 Chambertin Clos-de-Beze Grand Cru comes from vines planted in 1920 and purchased by Philippe Duroche in 1953. It has killer delineation on the nose"really precise and focused with vibrant, shimmering red and black fruit, hints of black tea in the background. The palate is medium-bodied with fine delineation and poise, silky smooth in the mouth with an elegant, slightly meaty finish that lingers long and tenderly. Excellent.
Anticipated maturity: 2017-2035
