Tasting Notes
Vinous 91+
Good full red. Good high-pitched minerality lifts aromas of black raspberry and candied cherry. Quite different from the village wines at this address, showing a silky texture but considerably more inner-mouth tension and less in the way of easy sweetness. This sappy, vibrant wine finishes firm and long, with the structure to age. In fact, I would not be at all surprised if this closed down in the very near future. [Stephen Tanzer, 03/01/2012]

Very rich nose – lots of brulee and not too much oak. Racy and polished. First vintage with only the upper part in it. Long and rather sophisticated. [07/12/2011]
