Stainless steel only
No oak — ever. Every wine is vinified and aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to keep flavours precise, clean, and true to the natural salinity of the Kimmeridgian soil.
The Collection
The modern voice of Chablis — precision, purity, and Kimmeridgian soul.
In 2006, Christophe Patrice broke away from the family domaine to do things entirely on his own terms. Starting with just 5 hectares in the village of Beine, he has grown his estate to 22 hectares — all farmed with the singular conviction that Chablis, when left to speak for itself, is unlike anything else on earth.
No oak. No shortcuts. Just Chardonnay, Kimmeridgian limestone, and a relentless pursuit of mineral precision — curated exclusively for Wine Kin.
A Domain Built on Independence
Christophe grew up in a family of vignerons, working alongside his father and uncles from 1996. But it was creative independence that drove him to establish his own estate in 2006 — and the 2011 acquisition of the Daniel Roblot domain that allowed it to truly flourish. Today, his vines span the communes of Beine, Courgis, and Chablis, many between 40 and 70 years old.
Every wine is vinified and aged exclusively in temperature-controlled stainless steel — no oak, ever. The choice is deliberate: to keep the wine "vertical" and precise, and to let the Kimmeridgian clay-limestone soil, rich with fossilized oyster shells, deliver its unmistakable gunflint signature without interference.
Three pillars behind every glass of precision Chablis.
No oak — ever. Every wine is vinified and aged in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to keep flavours precise, clean, and true to the natural salinity of the Kimmeridgian soil.
The domain's vines dig deep into ancient clay-limestone soils dense with fossilized oyster shells — the geological source of Chablis' signature gunflint aroma and laser-like acidity found nowhere else on earth.
Managed under lutte raisonnée sustainable practices and HVE certified, with lower planting density than the regional average — prioritising the health and concentration of vines aged 40 to 70 years.
