Domaine Marc Roy is a small, family-owned estate in Gevrey-Chambertin, now helmed by fourth-generation vigneronne Alexandrine Roy. Despite owning no Grand Cru or Premier Cru vineyards, Alexandrine’s obsessive precision in the vineyard has elevated her village-level wines to stand alongside some of the top allocations in Burgundy.

Unlike standard village bottlings made from specific geographical climats, Cuvée Alexandrine is a special micro-selection from across six of the domaine’s best old-vine parcels in Gevrey-Chambertin. During flowering, Alexandrine identifies vines affected by millerandage (shot berries)—tiny, seedless grapes with a thick skin-to-juice ratio. These tiny grapes yield concentrated, intensely aromatic, and structured juice, producing a village-level wine with the density and longevity of a Premier or Grand Cru.
